Meat Not Marked as Kosher

Can we eat chicken, beef, lamb from the store if it is not marked kosher or glatt kosher?

Answer:

Jew are bound by the laws of Kashrus, which involve both choosing Kosher animals, but also having them slaughtered by Shechitah (ritual slaughter).

Meat foods that are not marked as Kosher cannot therefore be eaten by Jews.

Best wishes.
