Mezuzah During Renovations

Is it recommended to put a mezuzah on a house while it is being renovated and worked on – but before moving in?

Answer:

There is no obligation (and no recommendation) to affix a mezuzah while a house is being renovated, and unfit for living in.

However, if the house is partially fit for living in, and some of the rooms are continually being used (either for living in or for storage), then the house (the front door) and the relevant rooms should have a mezuzah throughout, where this is feasible.

Best wishes.
