Burn Marks as Pagum

Are burn marks on a pot considered pagum? What about hardened residue that is stale and probably won’t taste like it would originally?

Answer:

Burn marks are pagum and won’t pass on beliyos.

Food going stale is not necessarily sufficient to become pagum, and this depends on the extent. If it has become stale to the degree that it has “gone off” and tastes foul, it will be pagum.

Best wishes.
