Matanos La-Evyonim and Mishloach Manos should be given in the day. The mitzvah of Mishloach Manos is related to the Purim feast, and therefore must be given in the day, and some write that the mitzvah of Matanos La’evyonim must also be given in the day, because the word “days” of the Megillah refers to the daytime (please see here for sources).
